How to Extract a Color Palette From an Image
Pull the dominant colors out of a logo, photo or screenshot and copy their hex codes. Free, in your browser, nothing uploaded.
Why extract colors from an image
A logo, product photo or mood board often defines the colors for a whole design. Extracting them gives you a palette that matches the source instead of guessing by eye.
How to get the palette
Open the Color Palette Extractor and drop in an image. Use the slider to choose between 4 and 12 colors, then click any swatch to copy its hex code. The image is processed in your browser and is not uploaded.
Getting better results
Fewer colors give the broad main tones and more colors add subtler shades. Transparent pixels are ignored, and large images are scaled down before sampling, so tiny details may not show up in the palette.
Where to use the codes
Paste the hex codes into CSS, Figma or any design tool. To check whether two colors are readable together, try the Contrast Checker.
